Description
The commencement of training for the ordained ministry by the Reformed Church in Zambia in 1951 (then the Dutch Reformed Church Mission Church of the Orange Free State in Northern Rhodesia) was the result of a need for con tinuing evangelisation and an effective local ordained ministry. Acceptable entrance qualifications and quality training as well as tension as to whether such theological education should be strictly denominational, or of a more ecu menical nature, were continuous concerns.
